Rangers Celebrate ….

9th, with 2 outs, A-Rod was the only thing that stood between the Rangers and a
visit to the World Series for the first time in franchise history.
The scene was set, A-Rod who couldn’t take the Rangers there got
a chilling reception, the commentators called it poetic justice, A-Rod grabbed
his crutch and adjusted his cup as if to say ‘Suck This’, Neftali Feliz
the Rangers closer looked in, dug deep and threw 3 fast balls all around the 100
mph mark, with 1 strike away from celebration, again Feliz looked in got his
sign and threw, what must have looked like a soft toss to A-Rod, who froze then
flipped his bat from one hand to the other and walked back to the dug out head
held down, while the Rangers went into overdrive on the celebrations….
….there was no doubt the Rangers were happy with the win, they
can celebrate as much as they want, they deserved it. It’s a wait and see game
for the Rangers now as they contemplate their very first World Series, for the
travel manager it’s headaches ahead, as he has to make arrangements for both San
Francisco and Philadelphia, until he knows where they will be headed.
The Phillies host the Giants this evening in the hope of forcing
a game 7 Sunday. Mr. Durable Roy Oswalt takes the mound for the Phillies,
while the Giants counter with Sanchez.
Go Phillies….
Ready to see the Giants do the same? The big wigs at FOX are not.

Baseball better pray that the Phillies win. I mean who is going to watch Giants/Rangers in the World Series? Those ratings will suck. They are going to suck already since my Yanks won’t be there….

Jeff – Some think they want the Phillies because the Yankees lost and they need ratings, but they need someone to attack and belittle at every given moment
Virginia – Spoken like a true Yankee fan…your so sweet…:-)

I was born right near Philly and my dad lived there all his life. I have a soft spot in my heart (the first baseball game I ever attended was in the 80’s in Philly, and Mike Schmidt hit a monster homerun) for them. I would like to see the Rangers and Philly in the series, and I hope for your sake and my dad’s sake that it happens. I just hope my Rangers can defeat your Phillies!! Good Luck tonight and hopefully tomorrow! GO RANGERS!!

Peter,
Actually could not have been a better person to have at the plate to drive the stake through the heart of the undead Yankees faithful.
Seriously it was a miscalculation by the Yankees pitching staff that led to their early exit. Both teams hitters feasted at times on the other, but in the end an ERA that high always leads to an early trip home.
Texas had to go through the last two AL Champions to get their shot at the NL winner, and you can bet they are chomping at the bit.
Ginger Ale might come to be the next big on the field celebration item…..thanks to the Rangers all for one mentality.

I’ll ignore the A-Rod slaps and just proceed….Came by to say sorry Game 6 didn’t go your way. I feel your disappointment. Guess our teams will have to regroup and try again next year.

Sorry about the loss Peter. I can’t root for the NL so go Rangers!
